Background
The Regenesis initiatives are meant to drive community incentives to promote ecological growth. Main incentives embrace the sharing of facilities, general access to resources, and ultimately a significant reduction in carbon footprint. Some of the initiatives include a tool library, bike repair, and free (thrift shop). Through the process of donation, volunteering, and educating, the following motion design solutions were dedicated to promoting the initiatives in an impactful, youthful manner.
Strategy
Every story has a beginning, middle, and end. Analogous colour groupings are used to support each segment of the narrative. Video introduction segments start with a warm palette consisting of a dominant orange hue to encourage and entice the viewer in the message. A cooler harmony (consisting of violet and blue) is utilized in middle scenes to inspire the viewer further on the Regenesis principles. End segments are then fabricated in a green palette to finish the reel in a refreshing manner, back to nature.
Intentions
As a leading cross-university environmental advocacy network, Regenesis continues to enact its key initiatives throughout urban metropolitan communities. The design process continues to take shape in various forms to promote community awareness and engagement in a non-profit manner.
